Pictured above is Fronarth Fonhesig (Fronarth Messiah x Llamri Lausanne) the top priced animal at the 2009 Brightwells Autumn Cob Sales - a 2006 filly who sold for £11,200 on the Sunday. The actual top price for an animal has eluded Fronarth to date, so they are obviously delighted with the result. Moreover it is nice to know that the purchasers of this filly have a very sensible and thought out plan for her, so I've no doubt that I will be taking her photo again in the future.
If you just want to scan the list of solds / not solds & withdrawns, Overview is probably your best bet. No other feature creates more work but also so much enthusiastic feedback. Within days of the results going up, I've had emails from: Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Canada, Australia as well as Wales and England.... Thanks for the support, I must say sometimes I wonder whether " I'm all there ", as I pick out the unsold lots and the blurb from the catalogue listings to accompany the day's photos not forgetting to whack the prices on too as I go along. ![]() |
