BRIGHTWELLS SPRING SALE 2007
Saturday 12th of May was the Brightwells Spring Sale of Welsh Ponies & Cobs. Held at the Royal Welsh Showground near Builth Wells, catalogues cost £5 & which for future reference can now be obtained on-line from the Brightwells website: www.brightwells.com There were over 200 lots offered at this year's spring sale. They were divided into Registered Welsh Part Breds & Geldings, followed by Registered Welsh Cobs - Sections C & D broken to ride & or drive. Next came Registered Welsh Ponies - Sections A & B finishing up with Registered Welsh Cobs - Sections C & D. There was a little bit of everything there, but the weather was horrendous and I could only persuade my husband and daughter that they were having fun for a few hours so I only managed to see the first two parts of the sale. I did manage to get a few photos including Mycathlly True Grit, the 6 year old Sec D gelding that went for £8,000 & Thorneyside Black Velvet & colt foal (not sold). Click on the photos below to enlarge. Not normally much of a piebald / skewbald fan I also took a photo of Sunny Amazing Grace, as she was such a lovely mover. |
