It was about time I visited another show, and as this one was nigh on my doorstep, I thought I'd pay it a visit. Great venue, the Amman Valley Pony Club is very fortunate in having very good facilites & despite the weather being highly reminiscent of RW week, happily they have a huge arena, so the ground remained safe for everyone who competed.
Babiog Barcud went very well in the Ridden Ds & there was a very fair juggling of postions for those who were entered for more than one class I thought, with everyone coming away with something. In the In Hand Cs Synod Royal Treasure won overall exhibit, with reserve going to Brohedydd Moli Ann. Champion Foal was Nye Sovereign. |

In the In Hand Ds Blaengwen Dick Powell won overall exhibit, and I'm pretty sure Thorneyside The Marksman (pictured above) was reserve, although my programme got so damp I can't read my scribbles anymore, and by this stage of the day I had started thinking more about a hot bath and less about horses! Champion foal was Hadyn Hudson's Maesyfelin Black Lady shown by Dai Williams. Reserve Foal went to Llwynwormwood Archie, (congratulations Mark & Tina- how jammy having a foal as nice as that to start your own prefix!)
Many thanks to Helen for helping me fill in most of the blanks. (Info & Corrections on all my pages always welcome) As usual, the photos are happy snappys, quickly done and loaded, If you want a proper photo of your pride and joy, the site you need to visit is Mr Reynold's. CLICK HERE for a link |
