Photo above shows Trefaes Guardsman (Skellorn Daylight x Trefaes Grey Lady) , owned by the Teifi Stud, who put in a stunning display at the Trefaes Stud. Foaled in 1992 he looked much younger than his 18 years and was shown to perfection by D.
Spectacular animals in stunning locations and it stayed dry all day.
For the many that made it to the Grand Stud Open Day, no-one could have been disappointed. So much care and thought had gone into providing the visitors with the perfect display of Welsh Ponies and Cobs and all accompanied by a lovely souvenir programme published by Gomer Press. I've had so many people tell me that they were absolutely gob-smacked at the quality of animals on display and whatever your preference, there would have been something to impress you at each stud.
If you weren't able to make it, (or even if you did and want a reminder of the day) then there is going to be a DVD available for sale at £15 and there are still some programmes left @ £5 each to enhance your viewing pleasure! (both items + p&p)
All enquries to Dr Glyn Jones of the Gwarchod Stud, emailor phone 07977 038027
Please click on the links below to see a few photos that I took at the three studs, it will also be worth keeping an eye on the Rainhill website as well, as I did see Anthony & Aileen Booth there too...
