Photo above shows Ring Danielle (NEBO DANIEL x Cascob Delight) winner of the senior brood mare class, Female Champion and Reserve Champion In Hand Section D exhibit.
Another day of extreme weather and extravagent movers, none more so than Ring Danielle, bred and owned by the Ring Stud in Belgium. There was a tremendous synergy between the mare and handler, with "Mr Fit" taking over the ring like a man possessed allowing him to keep up with the forward impulsion of the mare. Very rare sight indeed.
The Stallion Championship went to Gwenllan Brynmor (Gwenllan Sam x Gwenllan Blodwen) with the 2nd placed stallion from the senior class, Pentrepiod Welsh Flyer taking reserve. You all know how much I like Brynmor by now, so I won't bore you with any further pontification! The Junior Mare Class winner, Dyffryngwy Briallen, was reserve female, a beautiful mare and one of my own personal favourites from the day - again with a tremendous amount of "four wheel drive" through the mud.
